One thing I didn't have to say to Stacey and Mike is "just be yourselves", talk about relaxed! You got the feeling that you were at a close intimate dinner party for family and friends, and not a "formal" wedding ceremony. Now Bonnie and I are sure there was "wedding day" stress, but you couldn't tell watching these two interact with each other, family and friends. So much laughter and true joy! More images to come.
Gotten a little behind on updating the blog, but the update on Tomoko and Marty is that they are now Mr. and Mrs. There was no shortage of smiles that day. Again Bonnie and I are fortunate in this profession to meet so many wonderful couples, and share their special day.
Busy weekend with two portrait sessions on Saturday and a Sunday wedding (Marty and Tomoko). Bonnie and I feel so fortunate to share and capture images for our clients. We really do enjoy the people we meet.
Two sisters, one off to medical school, and the other off to the university to become an electrical engineer. Mom and Dad are very proud, and we would like to think that the future of this country is in good hands!
Vanessa's session was special because her brother returned from Iraq to see his son Cash whose session you can see in an earlier post.
A fellow football Skins fan,(we're both from the Washington, D.C. area) and friend got married this past weekend. Mike and Christa had an absolute beautiful spring day to celebrate their wedding with family & friends. Here are a few images more to come!
April is going to be a busy month for us and we so excited to be back into the wedding season flow again! Stacey and Mike's engagement session was a fun session to photograph because they had so much fun together. They make each other laugh! Thats the secret to capturing who you are as a couple just enjoy each other's company, relax, and have fun doing the session! Slideshow of the session can be found here: slideshow
WELCOME TO OUR BLOG!
We got away from it for awhile, and alot has gone on since the last time we had a blog up and running. By way of brief introduction, we're wedding photographers! The D&B in our company name stands for David and Bonnie of course. Of course! We added "Visual Events" because while although it doesn't imply photography in the name, we felt it better portrays our philosphy towards capturing weddings for our brides.
We love capturing weddings. They are one of life's true expressions of a couple's love, devotion, and committment to each other. Their celebration is our celebration, and the memories we create aren't limited to just photography. Videography, slideshows, engagement albums, rehearsal dinner coverage, and so much more makes the memory. After all a great photograph of dad giving a toast is further enhanced by hearing what dad had to say, and the emotion in his voice! So we are great believers in total coverage.
This blog is going to be a relaxed, informal affair much like our style, and approach to wedding day coverage. Enjoy the sights and sounds of wedding coverage from D&B Visual Events.
